Heron by The Docks
A foggy fall morning down at the docks of the Fredericton Boat Club. While my tripod and camera were setup for another shot facing West, a squacking Grey Heron came flying in from the East. I dismounted my camera and snapped this shot handheld, and just by complete chance I got the Heron in what I think is the perfect position within the frame. Even though this shot was captured by quick timing and chance, to this day it is one of my personal favorites.
